To collect royalties from Radio, TV, & Live Performances, as an artist, you need to be affiliated with one of three (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC) Performance Rights Organizations that collect these royalties on your behalf. If you publish other music also, you will need to register you're publishing company as a separate entity.
